Trump Goes All-In on Trying to Shift His Liabilities Onto Biden

(Bloomberg) -- Donald Trump has a message for voters who are concerned about his handling of the coronavirus pandemic, policing in the U.S. and China trade policy: Joe Biden would make everything worse.

Trump and his allies have attacked Biden on television, social media and even from the White House Rose Garden as a left-wing radical who would ruin the country. But as Trump’s approval ratings plunge over his handling of the virus, the economy and race relations, his team is trying to pin Biden as a failure on those same issues.

Biden will leave the economy in ruins, won’t improve life for African-Americans and doesn’t have the mental capacity to be president, Trump says.

In an interview with Fox’s Chris Wallace on Sunday, Trump said Biden didn’t have the mental stamina to withstand an hourlong interview and boasted that the former vice president couldn’t pass the cognitive ability test that Trump said he had passed. Wallace noted that the test was rather easy.

3. It's a serious tactic - be the first to make it a big claim about your opponent

and then it makes it harder for your opponent to use it against you. While Democratic voters in general have long said Trump is in mental decline (being pretty dumb to begin with), the Democratic Party didn't officially use it as a major talking point. So the Republicans started pushing it hard against Biden, despite not having proper evidence (doctored video doesn't count in reality, but it's enough to convince the deplorables). Now, when we say "Trump has dementia" in ads, they'll say "you only say that to hit back at what we said".

Trump did this last time. That's how we got "lock her up", when he's the one who had been skirting the law his whole adult life. And "drain the swamp" when he led a corrupt organisation for decades.

4. Other than his immovable loyal lemmings, the country has has

had three+ years of his ignorance, lunacy and mental deficiencies. I am hoping masses of people who actually have brains will see what their past vote actually supported and want him out.
And then there are all those damned “didn’t vote” of the populace that now see him for the pathologic, lying, psycho troglodyte he is and get to the polls this time!
