Will we need Nuremburg-type trials for the tRump family & his administration? Do you think anything

will get through to the supporters of this corrupt administration?

Does anyone else think we need to have public trials or some sort of publicity of the crimes committed by the tRump admin and the tRump family? I do. I don't think we can let this go without some sort of public reckoning. I think it needs to be on the same scale as the Truth & Reconciliation Commission hearings that were held in South Africa post apartheid. I think it needs to be more visible than Watergate and the McCarthy hearings. I think that is the only way to get to the rotten core of thinking that allowed this admin. to dominate our lives for the past 3-1/2 years and nearly destroy our country.

Yes, something necessary to get to the core of (nearly, I hope) destroying our country. elleng Jul 2020 #1

Given that, we do need major trials.

Problem is, even if we can make a better-than-"beyond reasonable doubt" case against Trump, his most brainwashed supporters will never believe it.

Compared to the Trump gang, Nixon‘s thugs were kids stealing chewing gum sticks from a candy store. For the sake of the nation and its future, the crimes must be enumerated and prosecuted, with the guilty punished, and the most guilty put away for life without media access.

We need to do it, and we also don't need to give a rat's ass what the supporters think. They want law and order, but their idea of it is law without justice and order without dissent and liberty. Justice is coming for this gang and the worst of their supporters.

We have had four years of political drama, I don't think that the people have the stomach for four more years of rehashing it. The first step is just get him,his family and his support system out of Washington. I would rather see Biden get to work repairing the train wreck and getting progressive legislation passed and progressive judges installed.

I would love to see Trump prosecuted and jailed, but that doesn't mean that it is the best thing for the country.

if we don't confront the lawbreakers, they just do it worse the next time. The reason we have Trump is that we didn't crush Nixon when he did his crime's.

We are in the place we're at because the Obama administration and Democrats refused to hold the Bush administration accountable for their war crimes - how many times do we have to learn this lesson? These criminals need to face the music, at the very least, so future politicians know they can't get away with this shit.

Not only do we need to hold trials and hold them accountable, but the punishment needs to be ruthless.

Nothing is too brutal for that family.
