I wish I hadn't done that.

This afternoon I spent about 90 minutes joy-riding on my motorcycle. There is a busy intersection where left-leaning demonstrators gather every Wednesday afternoon and hold up their signs reading things like "Honk For Peace" and "Justice for George Floyd" and things like that. I usually honk at them when I drive by.

Well, this afternoon I forgot about them momentarily when I approached that intersection. Then, there was this guy holding up and waving around a sign and a flag. I thought, "Oh, I forgot, this is Wednesday afternoon. I forgot about them." And then I honked my motorcycle horn at him and waved at him as I sat there at the red light. Then I noticed what his sign said.

I am not going to type what the sign said here because I WILL NOT say or type that orange con man's name. His name is like Voldemort to me. I can say Voldemort because we don't live in the Harry Potter universe, but we do live in the orange con man's universe. And I WILL NOT say that evil name.

Well, I was positively HORRIFIED when I realized that I had just responded positively to ... that. I immediately started looking for the "unhonk" button on my motorcycle, but alas, there isn't one.

From now on, I will closely scrutinize any protesters to be sure they are promoting some cause that I agree with before I respond.

Have a shower, then a drink ... listen to some good tunes ... probably emerge relatively unscathed from the ordeal.

We're here for you though, buddy!

I imagine it will be concave and have a sort of sucking sound.

In the meantime just drop it and be kind to yourself.
