It just floors me. Trump is a very sick man. His judgment is severely impaired.

My husband and I have had Medicare exams. They have never included tests like this. They were physicals. I don't know, maybe we could have requested them, or the doctor could have requested them if they seemed necessary?

My brother, a diabetic, had a mild stroke when he was in his fifties. They asked him some questions to be sure he was oriented to time and place. There were some other questions that tested his cognitive abilities. He was fine.

I think they did not do any further testing because he was doing quite well.

I have never heard of anyone being tested unless they were beginning to show signs of dementia, or had had a stroke.

At 54 seconds into the video, he identifies Ronny Jackson as the doctor he asked for the test.

Ronny Jackson stopped being his physician on 3/28/2018.

The test Trump hs been crowing about recently was administered as part of his first white house physical, at Walter Reed, by Ronny Jackson. Here's an article in which the conversation 54 seconds into the video above is described.

https://www.nytimes.com/2018/01/16/us/politics/trump-health-exam-doctor-cognitive-test.html

Tuesday that the president received a perfect score on a cognitive test designed to screen for neurological impairment, which the military doctor said was evidence that Mr. Trump does not suffer from mental issues that prevent him from functioning in office.

“I’ve found no reason whatsoever to think the president has any issues whatsoever with his thought processes,” Dr. Ronny L. Jackson, a rear admiral in the Navy and the White House physician, told reporters on Tuesday.

. . .

Mr. Trump, the doctor said, asked for the cognitive test to answer his critics and attempt to quell questions about his mental abilities.
