Kanye West continued his late-night, alarming rants ... again targeting his wife, his mother-in-law and many, many others.

Kanye, who is holed up at his Wyoming ranch, attacked Kim and Kris again ... he says for trying to get him placed on a 51/50 psychiatric hold.

Ye claimed, "I been trying to get divorced since Kim met with Meek at the Waldorf for 'prison reform.'" He went on to say, "Meek is my man and was respectful ... That's my dog. Kim was out of line."

Kim and Meek were both working on prison reform and were present at a Criminal Justice Reform Summit in Los Angeles back in 2019.

He took a shot at Kris, calling her "Kris Jong-Un," though he never explained further. He accused her the night before of masterminding the release of Kim's sex tape, something Kris has strongly denied.

There were scattered references to various other celebs. He said, "Lil baby my favorite rapper but won't do a song with me."

He claimed to be worth billions, saying, "I'm worth 5 billion dollars and more than that through Christ. But ya'll ain't listen to MJ and now ya'll believe them???" MJ seems to refer to Michael Jackson.

12. Usually, only if he's a danger to himself or others.

He needs to get back on his meds or have his dosage adjusted or needs a med change. Changing meds can take several weeks and he seems unwilling to cooperate. There isn't much anyone can do except try to keep him safe and earn his trust. He needs to see that what he is doing isn't working and that he needs help.

He is ill right now and deserves our sympathy, even though personally I don't like his "friendship" with IQ45.

4. It always seems to take a long time to get him into a psychiatric facility.

If there's someone in your family who is an adult and that person doesn't want help, and has the means to evade efforts to "force" him to get help (which is tricky enough when you're dealing with an adult), it can be difficult. I truly wish his family the best.

(This seems to happen with West every year or two.)

5. He is mentally ill and refuses to take his meds

There is really little Kim can do. We have a family member who has similar problems and there is nothing we can do. We have called police asked them to bring him to a crisis psych center. Sometimes they do and the psych center lets him back out. It is really difficult to help them. Plus, the instability and violence threatened just makes you want to keep away. So it looks like we will all watch Kanye decompensate until (or unless) a court gives Kim some kind of guardianship which allows her to get him in a hospital and treated.

6. All her money. All his money. Can't cure what ails him.

If Kim didn't realize then, she does now. His bipolar disease is intractable, self-damaging and, unfortunately for their children, heritable.

I have no love for celebrity culture, but I feel for what they are going through. And, all their money can't cure it.

Rapper Kanye West, jumping in the presidential campaign very late, filed petitions to appear on the Illinois 2020 ballot Monday minutes before the deadline.

West, who was raised in Chicago, is not running a national campaign and is scrambling to qualify for ballot status in states with different requirements.

West, who had been a supporter of President Donald Trump, said earlier this month he broke with the president.

West filed in Illinois as an independent candidate just four minutes before the 5 p.m. deadline Monday.
