In a blatant effort to take down Dr. Anthony Fauci in order to please President Donald Trump, a pair of his supporters actually paid a woman to accuse the National Institutes of Health’s infectious diseases expert of sexual assault. And she blew the whistle on them.

It involves Trump supporters Jacob Wohl and Jack Burkman, both of whom regularly drum up fake sexual assault accusations that end up backfiring against them. They’ve put out several false allegations over the years in an effort to hurt Trump’s enemies.

They contacted a lot of people who worked with Reid at the time and others she has mentioned in other interviews. They found inconsistencies in her story, and she quickly lost credibility.
