Every Yankee and National took a knee before the National Anthem. Feel the Butt Hurt!

President Donald Trump has long complained about players taking a knee before professional sporting events to protest police brutality.

But as Major League Baseball returned on Thursday night, every single player took a knee.

The protesters were started by former San Francisco 49’ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick in 2016.

Before the game, “BLM” was painted on the pitcher’s mound to show support for Black Lives Matter.

Both the New York Yankees and Washington Nationals wore “Black Lives Matter” warm-up jerseys.

AND Dr. Anthony Fauci threw out the first pitch!

Trump may not recover from this smackdown.

The Nationals and Yankees all knelt (every single player) for a moment before the anthem, but no one knelt while the anthem was played.

I"m sure it will pass quickly.

If not, I'll just google "Steinbrenner" and I'm sure that's speed things along

I think they threaded the needle nicely. Made their point.

Of course till now there was no opportunity to do anything but kneel during the anthem because the leagues gave no dedicated moment. But now that most sports leagues have come around it provides an opportunity to make the statement about Black Lives without stirring every thing up.

Even more valuable? To see those on the right noe try to move the goal post and find a new reason to attacking them for kneeling.

Because at the end of the day the right never cared about the flag, by and large. I’ve seen too many of these POS wearing American Flag bikinis, shorts and shirts. It’s always been about support for people of color.

Actually think it is an elegant way to protest. Takes away the argument that they are disrespecting the country blah blah blah. No, they are making a statement about the status of our justice system. Suck on that, Trumpers.
