Have you wondered why God would destroy His anointed’s chances of being re-elected by visiting a plague on the nation, one which has shut down his campaign rallies and is causing his poll numbers to plummet?

Your ‘Christian’ leaders say that God is simply ‘testing’ his chosen one.

So do you wonder why God keeps sending Trump ‘tests’ that He already knows his chosen one will fail?

I don't believe in God, nor do I disbelieve. The fact is that whether God exists or not is irrelevant to my life.

But for millions of Christians, it does matter - and their devotion to Trump is as illogical as it is hypocritical.

I was just pointing out the difference between believing Christians and Evangelicals - who seem to bear no resemblance whatsoever to avowed followers of The Nazarene.

Yeah, according to the Bible, God can be a right bastard at times. But he tends to punish the wicked with plagues and whatnot, rather than undermining his alleged 'chosen one'.

I have read the Bible - and going by memory, God visited ten plagues on the Egyptian pharaoh - NOT on the Hebrews who wanted to be free of his tyranny.

which is where people use religion and spirituality to enhance and glorify their egos. It's pointless trying to reason with those people. No matter how many illogical silly contradictions and impossibilities reside in their church dogma, they will stubbornly cling to "faith" in everything that their preachers and Trump tells them.

However when they get carted off to the hospital and a ventilation tube is shoved down their throats, they might reconsider their beliefs -- but I doubt it.

15. years ago I heard a man in church talking about beating up or killing

an old woman because they thought she was an atheist. So much for freedom of religion, so much for thou shalt not kill, so much for live and let live. I would not want to die with that on my soul!! And I have stories about every church I have attended and it is a lot. I moved around a lot and we were required to attend some churches in school. We would be marched across the street and have to attend a service, never asked what our religious choice was. Never given a chance to say no.
