...I've been studying this issue for 50 years, and have done some hands-on investigating myself. There is no doubt but that there is *something* going on outside out current scientific paradigms. I remain, however, skeptical that it involves literal "aliens". No, I suspect the phenomenon is all-too-human...but that doesn't mean that it is necessarily mundane, or that it won't require the rewriting of our history books...
