Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsThe county next to where I live in upstate NY had a spike in cases.
They have traced it back to a large group of young people who had a big party on the 4th of July weekend. All these young people are now paying a price. All of their families are now at risk. All of them, their families are hopefully under quarantine.
We have been doing a good job over all in NY. This goes to show you, it only takes one group, one idiot to start an outbreak. It looks like we are doing a good job of testing and contact tracing here in NY. That is the key to protecting ourselves from idiots.

(4,379 posts)I believe they found 5 more yesterday. All of these people probably spread it to other people. It's like a snowball effect. That's what makes this virus so nasty. People don't know they are infected. People don't get sick right away, some never get sick. In the mean time the virus is spreading like hell.

(31,989 posts)He said that one family trip led to 15 cases. Family trips and pool parties seem to be one of the biggest causes of Ohios recent spike.
What dont these people get??
