2. Logistics problem

At its height, there were nearly that many soldiers stationed in Iraq. There are perhaps a few hundred SWAT trained officers in CBD, ICE and Federal Police. I'm trying to envision Trump attempting to recruit, train end deploy 1/10th that many much before November, and I just can't see it. That's not even beginning to talk about the legality of what he's doing (non-existent).

We don't know if the Brown Shirts he is employing now are in the military. Of course he could draw in the 20,000 ICE police, the thousand DHS police, Police SWAT teams, the FBI, unknown number of CIA, armed thugs from alphabet agencies we have never heard of, or even thousands of mercenaries that are already on the payroll. Make no mistake, the office of the President, unshackled by law or conscience, has the ability to raise "unidentified" police in massive numbers. A trooper in a cammo uniform, with a face covering, looks just like any other man in a cammo uniform.

Of course, the numbers, quoted from CBS news, may just be more hot air from Trump, however the threat was real and unambiguous. The really important part is that Trump specifically called out cities that were led by Democrats as being targets for the "police action" during the last one hundred days of a Presidential election. As long as no one fights back, there is no reason that these troops will not be in place on Nov. 3 to police polling places to prevent "voter fraud."
