Its easily done under existing terrorism laws as this is in fact, terrorism. I would go as far as to charge and prosecute all other federal employees involved in the chain of command at the time including Barr and trump with terrorism as well.

Is this possible? Yes it is and nothing can exempt responsibility in conducting terrorist acts no matter who told you. Clear signals should be sent we will hold people accountable for their crimes, including any and all Federal employees and trump admin office holders.

getting prosecuted for following orders from the President. You might as well all get that out of your heads or be in for a major letdown. You would never in a million years get a conviction even if you tried.

The best you are going to get is investigations and potential firings/charges against individual agents where something like shooting gas at protesters heads can be proven. Anything further than that and you're asking for President Cotton and Speaker McCarthey in 2024. If that's what you want, have at it.

If you want to go after somebody, you need to go after the ones who gave the orders, not the ones following them.
