(can't remember his name now) that DHS hired private contractors, came back on TV and said that it turned out not to be true. Apparently DHS is pulling people from all over the country including DEA and ICE to go to Portland and other Democratic led cities. This little stunt could weaken various U.S. agencies all for political purposes.

are deploying to Portland? EVERYONE is watching for this, but I can't find one, only things like Twitter and Reddit posts, claims in opinion pieces, etc.

All the major investigative journals are investigating, their A teams watching closely on the scene and searching out info via all their contacts for private "paramilitary" elements -- not federal employees. If this ominous development was confirmed, it should immediately become breaking and front-page news.

federal agencies causing trouble in the streets of Portland on orders from the president of the United States?

That's plenty bad enough without imagining they're also private mercenaries.

That latter will be real when it's real, not when conspiracists say it is.

agents committing likely illegal but definitely un-American acts. No one's saying it can't happen, only that there's no evidence of private paramilitary forces yet.

If you want to be alarmed, maybe focus on the support the feds are getting from some factions withing OR/Portland law enforcement. It's real and potentially dangerous of this were to progress.

of course, you, my husband, me, tens of thousands of legal experts.

You know, Iron, this has been developing for a long time. The Republican leadership realized a long while ago now they could no longer win elections unless they integrated their party. They chose to take a different path. And the corrupted and stolen elections of 2016, with Russia throwing in with the Repubs to make war on our nation, was all hell finally breaking loose and promising to multiply during this term and this election.

And here we are, with what smart people have been fearing and predicting for decades coming to a head. But at least this time far more people are starting to realize the unthinkable is happening and getting angry, instead of imagining the big issue's which healthcare system Democrats should implement.

Have a nice evening. There will be more videos of Trump-sent thugs attacking citizens on the streets of our cities.

But the security guards are pretty run of the mill security guards. They make sure that your bags are scanned before you go in.

One time we were protesting there one night. For some reason they came out and got mad. There were only 5 of us. I think we let them know why we were there and they left us alone. It was night and dark and there was no one around to notice our lame protest. (They probably thought we were burglars..LOL)

I can't imagine the security guards having anything to do with crowd control though and can't imagine them being involved in really trying to secure the building in the case of 4,000 protesters..LOL Keep San Antonio lame!

Someone, PLEASE give me an example of liberals confiscating guns in mass anytime anywhere!

Goggle gun confiscation during Katrina. Remember that was (Bush Republican) and they hired Blackwater mercenaries to go into New Orleans.

This, exactly, and I am tired of it. The fact that republicans still control the Senate is not a good enough excuse. I want to see these bastards held accountable for what they are doing to this country and we are going to have to find a way. I refuse to believe that our hands are tied until the changing of the guard.

This is a matter of the survival of our Democracy and our nation. Surely all the brilliant legal minds we have on our side and who see the danger here can come up with something to put a stop to this republican overreach.

This is great info, lots of links to read and hopefully, garner more info on the DeVos family, who IMO, are traitors and only interested in profiting off the suffering of others.
This kind of corporate behavior should be outlawed.

The DeVos Family made thier money with a pyramid scheme, which most people know as Amway. A company that sold cheap producrs, via a multi-level marketing scheme, in which only the DeVos' profitted. Even those who worked for years selling that junk, found that once they got close to getting a higher income, from the hundreds of people they had to signup to sell under them, the DeVos' changed the rules and it took longer to get to a higher level.
All the while, the DeVos' profitted more and more.

They are founders of ALEC, the shady group that writes all the legislation for all GOPs in almost ever state.
Not one of the current GOP's could write a bill, because f they tried, the donors would dry up. This is pay for play using laws, they wrote to protect themselves.

We need new leaders who will outlaw and claw back those shady profits, end secretive law making groups and force all electeds to to the entire job they were elected to do.

It may be time to kill off the lobby industry and only allow individual citizens to lobby bills that personally affect them. That may be an empowering move, every citizen would benefit from.
