And just think..... They were down to 50 people protesting before feds came and this situation blew up

A few minutes ago Al Jazeera TV showed about 5 minutes of live protest crowd moving along in Portland. I looked for anyone not wearing a mask and did not see even one.

The crowd has fallen back, but is not leaving! Canisters being tossed back at feds!

23. Looks like a god awful war zone

Rather indiscriminate launching of gas canisters at anyone including press. Riot lines of goons well away of the fed building moving against protestors and firing gas along the way.

This has been going on for at least forty mins. People are scattered, but many are able to move together in large groups marching, chanting, and shaming the camo clad tRump thugs as they walk.

“Fucking get out of my city, you fucking fascist pigs.”

Was sprayed directly in the face with pepper spray for his opinions. Army medic and bronze star recipient maced in the face. All because they didn’t want to hear that they were violating the very same oath that he took.

Was watching this on Andrew Kimmel’s fb feed.

Mike Hastie is his name. His father was a career military officer. tRump did this to this valiant man with his illegal use of force.





Eta: I wrote this summary as it was happening. The message this amazing man gave to the feds last night has greater nuance and is more profound than I could relate at the time. He was warning them to not just follow orders and commit atrocity like he was asked to do during Vietnam.
