Denver forecast: meteorologist unemployed

A longtime Denver television weatherman is "no longer employed" since tweeting this:

Not to put too fine a point on it, but he's hardly the first to notice the resemblance. And his erstwhile employer, channel 9, is hearing from viewers; will be interesting to see if/how the station responds.

The Denver Post reported the story, but there's a paywall. The story was shared to some local papers, so you can read it here (no paywall until August):

A Minnesota weatherman was fired by a Tegna owned station for retweeting someone else's comments about re-open protesters...

Maybe these two ex-Tegna employees should get together and with other meteorologists set up their own media company? My understanding is that Tegna is trying to sell itself to avoid a hostile takeover attempt...

on social media is that it's stupid. Given that business, and your employee status, you can be completely on target in your thinking, but your corporate boss wields that paycheck. It doesn't want to hear from you. In a different world, maybe. But not this one.

AM 760 or freedom radio - "get your FREE DUMB here!"

760 used to be a successful liberal station but it turned colorado purple then blue so they destroyed it one of the usual ways - they replaced national liberal talent with locals who weren't as good . then they turned it into a business station, then some local conservative talkers, and then a real limbauhg hannity piece of shit.
