Moral choice. You know that phrase, I am sure. It is the basis, the root, of every major religion in this country. You would deny women, and only women of course, their right, their moral, choice in making a decision faced with an unplanned pregnancy. It is not YOUR moral choice (and would never be) it is theirs alone. Your opinion, your preference, your idea of mortal sin, none of those matter. The government's role in her moral choice should not exist, only that should there be that in the occasion of that choice, it is a woman's right to make up her own mind, in accordance with her own beliefs, religious or not.

Why do you think abortions have steadily declined after Roe v. Wade, Rev. John? Well, I'll tell you. They have declined because women have had access to more and better contraceptives than ever before. Funding for Planned Parenthood, not you, did that for women in this country. And THAT, not you and your ilk running your mouth preaching, REDUCED THE NEED for abortions in the first place.

Thanks for listening, buddy. But NO thanks to you for offering the real "solution" to the moral problem you like to whine about.
