Former U.S. Rep. David Jolly may have some bigger moves in his future.
Jolly, the U.S. Rep. for Floridas 13th Congressional District from 2014 to 2017, indicated on Twitter Sunday morning that hes considering a run for Florida Governor or the U.S. Senate in 2022.
A tweet from TV personality Lea Black kicked off the idea. Black, a member of the cast of The Real Housewives of Miami, tweeted that she thought Jolly should run for Governor.

(14,565 posts)Very popular right now especially in comparison to DeSantis. Both sides tried to woo him for 2018 especially Democrats toward the open FL-27. Carvalho seriously considered it but remained out. Donna Shalala got that seat instead

(130,834 posts)Can FL Dems do a decent job of it?
What was the story with Gwen? Seems I vaguely recall some 'interesting' aspects of her candidacy.

(13,884 posts)It amazes me how the people of Florida vote to do this and that but the legislators drum up laws to block the peoples will... Felon voting rights as an example... We voted in a high speed rail system and it got analyzed to death under two terms of sCott only do die with no funding.
In Florida if a business or corporation can't make a boat load of money it won't pass...
screw the people..
YMMV, just my observations living here...
