Purely anecdotal, but my wife has heard from a couple of local tRump humpers that they will not be voting for him this Nov. The reason: they are on unemployment and will be directly affected if the weekly Fed benefit is cut. Its clear tRump wants it cut, and drastically.
The straw that broke the camels back. As usual with Rs, its only a problem once they are directly affected.

I learned my lesson in 2004 when I remember Bush supporters renouncing Bush in the summer of 2004 and into the early fall - only to confess after the very close election that they still voted Bush because "Kerry is scary"

IIRC, the Fed minimum wage is under $8 an hour.

If you make $900 a week or more in CA, your benefit is $450. The median income in CA is around $1200 a week, which means that $450 covers 37% of ones average income.
