When the Democrats regain full power, the Republicans must not be allowed to stone wall legislation.

If that means removing the Senate filibuster, so be it. The reason is simple.

What happens after the Democrats take back power will decide the future for generations to come. This will be one of those moments in history that will be about life and death.

The Democrats will need to do something like FDR did. Move quickly and pass the legislation that the Republicans have been blocking for decades. This will be a moment where the Democrats cannot fail. They need to pass things like this.

Campaign finance reform. Get rid of Citizens United.

The John Lewis voting rights act.

Expand Obamacare and lower the starting age for Medicare to 55 years.

A Federal minimum wage of $15 per hour.

They are going to have to pass many new laws so no president can do what Trump has done ever again.

Immigration reform, the dream act.

These are just a few examples of what I believe must be done in order to save our democracy, our lives. The Republicans must be crushed if they get in the way. It is a matter of life and death.

I already heard Turtleman McConnell whining about how the Democrats better not get rid of the filibuster because they won't always be in charge. All that says to me is that the Turtle intends keep blocking legislation in the Senate even if e is in the minority. We all know he has done that before. The Republicans strongly fear that if the Democrats were to implement more progressive programs that they would be very popular and the Republicans would not be able to get rid of them

Push thru everything that is important to the PEOPLE of this country. Not the wealthy. They will do just fine. Need money for programs? RECIND THE TAX BREAKS TO THE 1%... Increase taxes on the obscenely wealthy to help the essential workers. It worked in the '50s where the max tax bracket was 90% and the economy was booming..
Cut subsidies to Oil and Gas who make a great profit with out the sub's..

8. And if we want to save America, we need to reinstate THE FAIRNESS DOCTRINE

And make laws about propaganda so that we still have free speech, and freedom of the press, but that propaganda has to be somehow labeled as such, or news has to be free of propaganda.

It's going to take someone a lot smarter than me to figure out how to do that. But if we don't stop fox propaganda and One America to keep stirring up all these conspiracy theories and cult activities, we will never again be a "united" states.
