Is our country presently under attack?

Are enemies of democracy, foreign and domestic, presently working to undermine the institutions of democracy in our country?

Are we so far into the forest that we can no longer see the trees?

Are we too blind to see what is about to happen before the next election? Do we truly believe these "enemies" will permit an orderly election and a peaceful transfer of power in January of 2021?

The confusion and chaos has already begun.

The fear will become magnified in the coming days and weeks.

This is to inform the American people (Democrats, Republicans, and Independents) that it is time to unite against the forces that would tear down this democracy.

It is time to unite or we could possibly lose our democracy. The forces of division are strong. To wait until November will be too late.

What can we do? I do not know.

But, it seems to me that it is up to the elected Representatives of this country to unite in a common purpose of defeating this enemy?

We've been under attack since 2016. And now Trump has declared a shooting war on America.

I agree it looks like pure crap-o-la right now. That's the way trump wants it to look. The only thing he's got left is fear and division. Every poll that I've seen the past few months tells me his shit is not working. Even though it's not working, trump will double down and try to make it look much worse, it's the only thing he knows how to do. But it won't work. Time is running out on the trump smoke and mirrors show. We will prevail.

This peeResident and his handlers/enablers seem intent on making violence a part of their future.

Makes me think that there are outside interests that would like us to tear ourselves apart. Probably the same interests that used to be called the USSR.

All of this stuff happening at once. I know my Mom thought we were under attack in 1968 and we survived it. The internet is the thing that may end up bringing us down. For instance, we as a party have come together the past few months, eyes on the prize and now Bernie's supporters are back at it, on every page I belong to, stirring up division. Saying they are going to hold the convention "hostage" for MFA and other things to divide us. We have to resist this at every avenue.

We have to win in November, not just the White House but the Senate and House. If we get some governors that is icing on the cake but we MUST win the other three to protect our republic. I think the majority of the Bernie nonsense is done by bots and some GOP people who want to bring us down. Yes there are a few who are just die hard, I don't understand how the system works people, but I really believe the majority are bots.

If we can hold our party together for a few more months with more moderate platforms we can clean up nationwide and then we can begin to push back on the social issues. Biden can do a lot the first few months just using executive orders like trumper did.
