Trump Busted For Illegally Laundering $170 Million In Campaign Donations

Trump Busted For Illegally Laundering $170 Million In Campaign Donations

A complaint has been filed against the Trump campaign for illegally laundering $170 million through the companies of former campaign manager Brad Parscale.

The Campaign Legal Center filed the complaint and said in a statement provided to PoliticusUSA:

Campaign Legal Center filed a complaint with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) against President Donald Trump’s reelection campaign and joint fundraising committee. The campaign and its committee violated the law by laundering nearly $170 million in campaign spending through firms headed by Trump’s former campaign manager, Brad Parscale, and other firms created by Trump campaign lawyers.

The campaign reported millions in payment–American Made and Parscale Strategy—which disbursed the funds to the campaign’s ultimate vendors. Ultimately, this hid millions in payments to companies engaged in significant work for the campaign, as well as payments to Trump family members or associates like Lara Trump and Kimberly Guilfoyle.

The Trump campaign appears to be laundering donations and using the money to pay Trump’s family and associates. Trump is also trying to hide money for work being done for his campaign.

“Voters have a right know how campaigns are spending money to influence elections,” said CLC President and former Republican Chair of the FEC Trevor Potter. “This scheme flies in the face of transparency requirements mandated by federal law, and it leaves voters and donors in the dark about where the campaign’s funds are actually going. This secrecy could also disguise other campaign finance violations, but we don’t know, because the campaign isn’t disclosing these routed payments.”

Busted is when you're led away in handcuffs, which hasn't happened. Typical PoliticsUSA tendentious and inaccurate headline; they're almost as bad as Raw Story. I hope Trump is busted for something someday but I'm not holding my breath.

Clear abuses of his power to self protect from having any consequences, and to escape justice , while he claims he's the law and order candidate. trump always claims the opposite of the truth , and projects lies onto himself, and his crimes onto others.

laundering happening right now must be staggering.

Bills are being passed that are in the trillions. A trillion dollars is 1,000 billions. There are some people getting richer right now, while the rest of us hang on the edge by our fingernails just to make our monthly expenses.

Chump is a thief, his family are all thieves.

That's why he started his re-election campaign the day after his Inaugural.
He immediately started pilfering from his next campaign.
And that is all he has done for the last 3.8 years.

(I need to edit this to exempt Mary L. tRump who, along with her brother Fritz, were cheated out of their rightful inheritance when their father died at 44 years old).

I finished her book about the tRump family yesterday, and boy was it a sobering expose. The only family I've ever seen as sick and dysfunctional as this one is/was is the fictional Newman family on The Young & the Restless. Everything that Shitler does and has done in his execrable life can be blamed entirely on his father, Fred Sr., and his all but worthless mother. The entire family was ruined by those two. This is not to say that Shitler doesn't have his own character traits and general nature that would have influenced him, but parental influence and instruction can ameliorate the most destructive aspects of it. He received no ameliorating influences throughout his lifetime, instead being led by his abusive and grasping so-called father.
