There's got to be a better way to hold these hearings.

If the committee members were acting in good faith, the five minute back and forth could work.

But we don't have good faith.

So what might be a better way forward?

Then switched back to a show in Investigation discovery. I’ll wait for the highlights. I don’t want to get ill watching this live.

. . . . do the actual questioning, with committee chair keeping each side's lawyer on point.

Here, the Chair announced that masks were to be worn at all times except when speaking, yet Jordan has been shown repeatedly without a mask. That's his way of saying "Fuck you, snowflake!"

gained anything beyond us enjoying seeing Barr squirm a bit.

70+% of voters probably aren’t amused. Hopefully, it’ll get better and some real points will arise.
