I know you know that facts don't work, this is not that. I read/heard a while back that my area was given a private heads up re: virus (St. Louis MO region). So was talking to my sister about It a few days ago, she said she had not heard that (fyi, she is a true blue democrat), so I googled it, so I could send her a link. 7 days ago Truth Out, 6 day ago Center for Public Integrity, 5 days ago, CNN and local TV station 1 day ago Fox News. Funny, all of the stories read about the same, but one broadcaster/press just plain avoided releasing the news until it was old hat.

(40,759 posts)... but Faux News is betting that most people aren't going to bother.

This Missouri Dashboard is updated daily with new numbers, and it's all interactive and user-friendly. But how many people in Missouri are going to keep checking this every day? Probably not that many, and Faux News already knows it.

Point is that NONE OF US should be relying on Faux News for our information, regardless of party affiliation.

A reliant on fox viewer would barely see any reference to Covid. Same time, the CNN screen bares no relation to what is on fox.
[However, the traditional, old line, nightly network news shows, with far more viewers; do cover the virus, often as a lead. There is some hope there. Of course, the Covid is very visible in social networks. We can prevail].
