He was exposed for the entire nation to see. It wasn't a pretty sight.
He showed himself to be in the pocket of Donald Trump. He does not work for the people of this country.
Also, he showed how much he is willing to break the laws to satisfy his Leader. Whether it be post-poning elections, troops in the street, or pardoning Mr Trump's buddies, Bill Barr was on the side of Donald Trump every time.
There were times when the Democrats were questioning him that he was almost embarrassed to admit how despicable he really is.

From news coverage I've seen, it seems that our side got in a lot of dings on Barr, but he did keep his cool during the process.

(10,385 posts)the more we keep him tied up, the less time and energy he has to to help trump steal the election. Trump can't do squat without Barr.

(15,909 posts)Try to put yourself in the mindset (painful and difficult though it may be) of someone who is capable of being impressed by Trump in the first place. Someone who, from the moment Trump came down that escalator, was capable of listening to the crazy, nasty, ignorant, inept, and stupid things Trump said and actually LIKED what they were hearing.
Then add in years of investment in having made the decision to support Trump, all of the double standards and willing sacrifices of principles and morality it would take to keep on supporting Trump once you saw him in action, one blatant act of corruption and incompetence after the next.
NOW try to imagine what Barr would have had to do in that hearing to look bad to Republicans.
Other than dancing around naked and shitting on the table and eating it, there's not much that would have an effect.
