Anyone ever see those "Lives Well Lived" segments Nicolle Wallace does at the end of her MSNBC show every day? A few minutes recalling the lives of people lost to coronavirus.
They usually have me tearing up, and today they had her just losing it; a little 9-year-old girl in Florida, and a Baltimore doctor who cared for virus patients succumbing himself.
Sometimes, with the scope of the crisis, and the ongoing absurdities of the clown in the White house, we lose track that these are people behind the numbers, leaving behind devastated families, and we should never do that.

Ive cried for months because of the pandemic deaths. It didnt have to be like this.

(64,569 posts)These people are not anything "special" (by standards of people like the trumps), except that they were fabulous human beings that led thoughtful lives that had a huge impact on the people around them. They were not famous or powerful; they were just well-loved by everyone that knew them.

(4,815 posts)We absolutely much keep reminding ourselves of the beautiful Americans that have been lost to this terrible disease because of the total incompetence and cruelty of this president. Today's segment was particularly tough and a powerful moment in cable TV new. Nicolle Wallace is the best.

(8,372 posts)Nicolle does a great job with her "Lives Well Lived" tributes. My sister and I watch her every day and have concluded she writes these herself. Genuine, heartfelt tributes to who is important.

So sad.
