Beware of Pence?

That is what my friend said to me and she may be right.

Paul Manafort hand-picked.

I thought Cheney was secretive ...Pence seems to have given the master class of stealth that Cheney took. Trump is the distraction for Pence and Putin.

She concern that Pence will somehow get the nomination at the convention or becomes the October surprise and Trump steps aside on the Ticket.

Pretended the plane was broken so he’d have to spend time with him.

Drumpf is super easy to manipulate, as Putin knows.

Pence is ambitious, it said.

Once 45 is gone, the deplorables have no leader unless Junior or one of the extremists like Tucker Carlson or a mouth breather currently in Congress steps up. Even then, 45 is the only one able to unite the deplorables. Everyone else will lose some of their fervent supporters.

The only reason he was picked was to throw something to the evangelicals. Honestly, he's like a giant Blancmange in human form. (I wish I could photoshop his face onto that pic.)

but that's about all he has going for him. He was busy losing his governor's seat when he was picked to be Trump's Toady.

He still has the evangelical vote, I'm sure. Currently, our surges in the 'burbs are leading, but I don't like Pence. He's the kind of weasel that can finagle dark forces.

Pence does not have the cult-like following that Trump goes. The cult-members would be livid and would desert the ticket. I think Pence’s loss in the Election would be by an even larger margin than Donnie’s.

The reasons were odd (to me, anyway) : she knew her husband was an alpha male, and needed to always be the alpha, so she felt that Pence was so beta that he would do. Ew.

I knew about Manafort and always wondered what the backstory to that was, but I guess this bastardized Game of Thrones has stories within stories.

If I didn’t know anything about Pence I’d take him at face value, because he looks so steady next to crazy Trump.

But Pence is the guy that let his own state have a big outbreak of AIDS while he was governor. He’s a theocrat who made his wife-to-be “repent” for having been married and divorced before him. He’s a theocrat who believes with all his heart that the US needs to be run on “Biblical law” —and that if anything happens to Trump, it will be God’s Will telling him to go for it.

TV. Interview or documentary which I chose to miss, but which my husband watched and conveyed this tidbit to me.

If I delete that one section of my post, my entire point will still remain the same and imo will still be valid. Pence is a theocrat who did very poorly as a governor. And Manafort hand picked him. And why the hell was that?

Gates also opened up to Barak about behind-the-scenes details from the campaign, including whom Donald Trump may have wanted as a running mate. He said Indiana Governor Mike Pence was not then-candidate Trump's first pick.

"To be, you know, candid, he wasn't at the top of the list at that moment," Gates told Barak. "And rightfully so. We had just started. And we had others to vet."

He revealed that it was Melania Trump who insisted Pence be her husband's running mate because she didn't think he would run against Mr. Trump in 2020.

to Trump to defend American citizens, American lives?

The yes-man to every policy, every tweet, every violation? In a certain way it makes him even more disgusting. He's not even original.

Those ads and characterizations just write themselves. If anyone thinks it might be a real possibility, then produce and bank about 100 TLP style ads to hold in reserve and release before his hand hits the bible.

Plus, I wouldn't assume the Republican election machinery from donors to phone banks are agile and skilled enough to make that kind of switch. It would be a massacre, but not without plenty of fear and uncertainty.
