Republicans Salivate Over Possibility Joe Biden Might Pick Susan Rice For Vice President

News that former national security adviser Susan Rice is apparently among a handful of women under consideration to be Joe Biden’s running mate has Republicans salivating — especially GOP foreign policy hawks in the Senate.

“It’d be a good move for Republicans,” Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) said Wednesday when asked about the possibility Biden settles on Rice as his vice presidential pick.

“I don’t think she’ll wear well over time,” he chuckled of the former aide to President Barack Obama.

Biden, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, said Tuesday he’ll be making the long-anticipated announcement next week. He has vowed to select a woman — someone, he said, who is “simpatico with me, both in terms of personality as well as substance” but who has “strengths and capacities I don’t.”

Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Conn.), a prominent progressive voice on foreign policy, said all the purported candidates on Biden’s shortlist, including Rice, would make a “great” vice president. “Republicans have never let the facts get in the way of a good narrative,” he said in defense of Rice.

Why because she worked for Obama?
That means she must have worked well with Joe at the time.

That Susan’s son, not only a republican, is a total dotard supporter. Something the gop will use negatively for sure...

Sad..but we can’t give them even the slightest talking point.

Of course if he picks her I will still be all in and will not doubt his reasoning in the slightest

There were eight investigations of that but during Trump's administration three Americans were killed by terrorists in the U.S., four in Niger, U.S. military bases were attacked in East Africa -- none of those incidents were investigated and no outrage.

But of course that's reality, so...

It would be priceless to see them attempt Benghazi or trot out her son.

Her convention speech would be long famous after she picked apart Trump and current Republicanism in general. The suburban women who have flocked to our side would be amazed, and even more convinced.

But we can certainly give all of that away in devotion to misguided fear.

Does anyone REALLY think VP selection matters? This election is an indictment if Trump and Biden is a reasonable choice.

If the Redumbfuckicans haven't figured that out by now...

Go home Lyndsey!

Frankly I’m surprised that Lindsey Graham could remove his lips from Donald trump’s ass long enough to give a sound bite to the press.

Would be an excellent choice. She and Joe worked closely together during the Obama years when he was vice president. My guess is he’s thinking very seriously about her and I think he’s going to pick her.
