Reporters please ask the President why he wants to delay an election in November for “safety” but wanted to open the economy in April? Or open schools in August and September?

States control the elections. Red states are welcome to delay their elections if they wish. They would, in that case, be opting out of the certification of the Electoral College vote. We'd win bigger.

When the Orange Anus says he's concerned about safety, he means he doesn't want any vote by mail. He thinks that is unsafe and full of cheating. Not voting itself is unsafe.

...but what he's doing here is word associating his two desperate tactics, demonize mail-in voting, and pretend there's some sort of emergency that requires he use his superfragalistical presidential abilities to delay voting.

It's standard fascist moves to try and stay in power, in the face of an election certain to remove him.
