In some instances, are Absentee Ballots not mailed?

Trump has no idea what he is talking about.

If Trump votes Absentee in D.C for Florida, is his Ballot then not mailed to him ?

He is repeating himself again. There is a difference between voting Absentee in person to that of a ballot that is returned in by mail.

That's what "absentee" means. As far as I can tell, the only difference between absentee and mail-in voting is that you have to request an absentee ballot while a mail-in ballot is sent to you automatically. In a few states, like Oregon, that's the way everybody votes, and have done for years. There is no in-person voting at the polls and no absentee voting because there's no need for it. But both are done via the mail and there is no evidence of fraud in either method.

My husband has a scrawl for a signature and was actually called last year to validate that he had voted. We have a choice to drop in the mail or take it to a ballot drop box which are usually near our local town halls and/or library. Postage is not required in my state, but this year I will be dropping my ballot in a drop box for extra peace of mind.
