This Congressional hearing. What a shit show between Redfield and Steve Scalise.

Scalise twists everything to make it sound like Trump was the one who laid out proper re-opening guidelines, and if everyone would have followed it, we would all be better off.

And then Redfield responded to his inquiry about opening public schools. Redfield believed children's development does better face to face (even in a pandemic?) and Scalise popped up with another benefit to sending children to public school: Because they'll be in a better position to recognize incidents of child abuse.

Well, isn't forcing children to into an environment where some of them will die, wouldn't that be an example of child abuse?
