Trump campaign cancels TV ads to try to figure out how to stop losing to Biden

Trump campaign is hitting the reset button.

Donald Trump's campaign is removing its current television ads from the airwaves and reviewing its messaging strategy, hitting a full-scale reset button roughly three months out from Election Day, the Washington Post reports.

The move comes as Trump has fallen far behind presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden, both nationally and in every critical swing state — making Trump an underdog.

It also comes two weeks after Trump replaced his former campaign manager Brad Parscale with Bill Stepien.

It's unclear what the review will find.

Really? This is what you have? 35 year old news clips? You think the guy who just lost his job, and his mom died of Covid, and his kids are terrified to go back to school, is going to be swayed by that?

But this is what drumpf does because the cupboard of his accomplishments is BARE. no matter what ads he runs he’ll never be doing anything other than trying to sell a shit sandwich.

He fucks up everything he touches. Even simple stuff. I wonder if privately Republicans in the Senate regret not convicting him when they had the chance.

By default, Pence would have done a better job with the pandemic. And given what's going on, most people would have forgotten about the impeachment.

Even if he were to drop out of the election tomorrow, I don't think there is a Republican who could recover from the damage Trump has done.

I think Republicans are going to hope they can keep the Senate. Or at least stay close enough to disrupt the bigger democrat initiatives and try to mount a mid-year attack to get congress back.
