A majority of President Donald Trump's supporters say they won't accept the presidential election results if presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden wins by mail-in ballots, according to a new poll.

According to the poll, among those who intend to vote for Trump, 55 percent say they will not accept the results of the election if Biden wins through mail-in votes, while 21 percent said they would. The remaining 24 percent said they were not sure.

In comparison, among those who intend to vote for Biden, 26 percent say they won't accept a Trump mail-in voting victory. Forty-seven percent of Biden voters say they would accept the results and 27 percent said they weren't sure.

On June 22, Trump posted a tweet saying that "because of MAIL-IN BALLOTS, 2020 will be the most RIGGED election in our nations history."

"We voted during World War One & World War Two with no problem, but now they are using Covid in order to cheat by using Mail-ins!," the president added in his tweet.

I heard a guy on the Muckraker podcast today call Trump the "External Cognitive Dissonance Machine" for his cult fans.

That is, they don't need to think and try to understand the dissonance between "mail-in ballots used to be good because they favor Republican voters" and "mail-in ballots are now bad."

They just have to let Trump suddenly change his mind about something, and it makes no sense, and they don't have to try to make sense of it or make it fit the principles they once had. They just nod along with the Trump weathervane.

Trump will win so many small states it is very likely he will have an electoral college lead based on states called on November 3. The media won't fall for Trump's desperation but a large segment of the population will.
