(7,997 posts)if a student tests positive for COVID, will the students who travel on the same school bus he/she does also be quarantined?
Add in intervention rooms where students from different classrooms are often together, recess, cafeteria, hallways, bathrooms... the list is endless.
The school where my daughter teaches wants kids to use the classroom bathroom instead of the larger bathrooms. Who will be cleaning those up between uses? Are teachers really going to end up being glorified janitors, or will they have time to teach? She goes back Monday. I'm scared for everyone there.

(64,877 posts)I sub in 10 different districts.
Now, I don't work 5 days a week, and almost never more than 3, but that's a very interesting concern.
Back in January, I worked Monday in a HS of around 1,600 freshman & sophomore. On W & Th, I subbed at a junior high with 1,000 kids. Then on Friday I took a last second (desperate call) music thing at a K-8 of around 400 kids.
I was likely in a room with 400 different kids in one week. Not counting walk bys in the halls.
I hadn't even considered that element.
