about Trump, any Republican who still refuses to publicly denounce him is a co-conspirator in Trumps assault on our nations democracy.
Its as simple as that.
No math required, no complicated test that calls for identifying an elephant - nothing that complex.
If you are an elected Republican currently in office and y6u won't speak out against the lies, the idiocy, the absolute madness of your "pResident", you are as complicit as he is in the deaths of over 150,000 American citizens.
And it really is as simple as that.

(11,885 posts)They watch him now using the Post Office as a political weapon , and like he wants to do with the police,, and republicans say nothing. They will pay a price for their enabling trump to do this to us , and our country.

(6,937 posts)In negotiations, the strategy is to hold individuals accountable now for everything Trump says. Its as if what Trump says comes out of their mouths themselves.
Thats how I react with my CongressmanI blame him for every Trump statement and hold him personally accountable.
There should not be a ray of light between what Trump says/does and what his followers say/dothey are one and the same.
On edit: Im gonna tweet my GOP Congressman now and ask him why he hasnt denounced Russia publicly over paying the Taliban to kill Americans In Afghanistan.

(300 posts)Republicans know that Trump is a train wreck, but are currently held in check out of fear of reprisals. They simply don't know which way to run, and so are hunkering down, remaining silent, and sheltering in place, hoping that somehow their political careers will survive this! Their cries of "I was never with him!" will be amusing to hear in the post-Trump years...

(25,816 posts)What's he going to do, put out a mean tweet? What's the weird power he holds over so many of them?
I think Mitch and several others got Russian money. I think trump blackmails them just like Putin
blackmails trump and just like Epstein blackmailed so many.
Government by blackmail. It's sick.

(51,018 posts)didn't know in 2016. It's just that now we have been living through the ramifications of his vileness.
But we knew all about his vileness four years ago. Thing is that many Americans relate to that vileness.
