(61,033 posts)They are two governors who did great jobs on tackling the virus in their states. Best to target the red state governors who kissed trump's behind in delaying their closings and re-opening to soon, and thus the steep virus spikes in their states now.

(61,033 posts)Why single out them instead of repugs DeSantis or Abbott or Kemp who have done horrible jobs?
This is DU you know, which promotes Democrats and you attack two Democrat governors.

(58,785 posts)offend you. If it's any comfort neither of them know you exist. I don't think most people realize it, but looking down noses at others requires attention and energy to that, and most people really can't be bothered, neither those busy exploiting people "like you" nor those busy trying to help.
As for the job search, you have my complete sympathies there. But right now you only need ONE job that'll pay enough to keep you afloat. One. Until and when.
Fwiw, there are no big numbers of jobs to come of it yet to speak of, but some people are training on line to be a contact tracer in case an explosion of demand opens up. There's at least one free MOOC going right now that I know of and will be more.

(3,693 posts)Why are you attacking them? What did they do? I could see it if you were attacking Kovid Kim.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
