3. How is any of this a good idea in our current climate?

I just cannot figure out how pretending we've managed the virus better than we have, like some other countries, makes anything good? We're not on the same trajectory at this point as European countries who are getting to enjoy some more normal pastimes. We need to fix this and then we can have, and enjoy, our things again.

We have a lot of work to do, we're not even close to being OK here at this moment. We need to accept reality, and stop getting people sick for absolutely no good reason. This makes my heart sad to read.

And it is so clearly the socially irresponsible thing to do.

NFL is particularly fraught because of the size of the teams/staffs. More than 2X as big as MLB, more than 4X as big as NBA.

I believe this was rejected by MLBPA and not sure if it has been considered by the NFL.
