I've seen this opinion in my Facebook feed several times with Covidiot wringing their hands with worry about mandatory vaccines.

This is my response:
This is just one opinion. It's not gonna happen. What will happen is that schools, doctors and businesses will refuse to allow people who aren't vaccinated to come in their doors. You don't like it, homeschool your kids, don't go to that business, find another doctor.

(3,764 posts)Forced vaccinations aren't going to happen. And anyone who says it is is either needlessly worried or trying to work people up.

(14,913 posts)In the discussions of prioritizing access in the early days of a vaccine, before there is enough for everyone, it is likely that medical personnel and other first responders, essential workers, the elderly, and other medically vulnerable persons would go to the head of the line. Some have pointed out that African American and Latinx individuals have a higher rate of complications and death, and have suggested that they should also have priority. I am sure that covidiots would suddenly demand to be vaccinated and try to shove their minority brethern out of line if that were the case.
