After listening to Rachel Maddow's show tonight...We are in it very deep. We have a Covid 19 raging out of control with so many ignorant people getting and spreading the virus. Another four years of Trump...if he does nothing, could end up killing Millions and Millions of people in this country.

Trump's mind is going..as we know from several major examples... and how will he be in another FOUR YEARS? He and the Republican party will strip the government and bail... more than likely. I ready today that the Head of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg has become even more rich. The Republicans would KILL THIS NATION to be richer... and that's exactly what is happening... maybe Putin has a hand in it, because the Republicans will take help where ever they can get it to stay in power.

Imagine it, having a mad man, out of his freaking mind, with possession of the Nuclear Launch Codes... (or did i read that the Military may have taken control of those?)

I wonder about this... but in our history, there have been traitors. Benedict Arnold is a great example. (He will only be second to Trump , I am betting by the time this is long over and History is written.) Will the Republicans in with Trump be treated as Traitors to the US Constitution and to our country? I am sure their will be trials... as there were after Nuremberg. I don't expect firing squads but long Prison terms would be nice.

Still.. I am scared they will find a way to cheat.. they are already starting their propaganda in the various Social Media corners. The Post office has now slowed down because of the people Trump has put in place in the upper echelons of the Postal Service affecting millions of Mail In ballots.

He wants people to stand in long, long lines to vote or get discouraged and to not vote. Limiting Postal Drop boxes... They have the power and will use it to disrupt and corrupt this next election. Trump is encouraging them to do so... he doesn't want to go to prison, he wants to be MOB BOSS of this Country... he wants to be the big strong leader, except his mind is going...

Waiting for November will be hell... but if the results fall in the wrong way, we will BE LIVING IN A TRUE HELL.

However, I've come to the conclusion that what each of us here, and those who think and feel as we do, can accomplish ... is to get two other people who would not ordinarily vote to vote for Biden. Three if possible.

Personally? I don't care what I have to do, drive them to the poles, get them registered if still possible depending on which state one is in. Cali, for instance has same day registration.

Trump is a visible and known entity now. HRC would not have contained the virus much better - Americans being freedom-loving imprudent Americans - and she would be blamed for it. There would be a greater GOP Congress if HRC were President these 4 years, and it would be worse next year.

From my initial comparisons in Feb, posted here or there on DU, of COVID to 1918, I never doubted that millions of Americans would die from it. I kept coming up with numbers above 3 million and in a worse case around 11 million. At this point I don't even know if we could stop the spread, still produce food to eat, pay rents and bills, if we acted like Italy ultimately did with curfews, lockdowns, and total contact tracing. The Carbineiri have their benefits. London Bobby's don't seem to be doing as well.

If Trump did pull it off in 2020? He's gone in the head. It won't be another 18 months in my view.

And we are better organized in 2020, we have 2018 as a model, we are aware of the problems (voter supression) whereas in 2016 no one knew what Trump was up to. I kept asking myself, WHY is he going to hick towns and cities in rural MI WI PA? He went for the under-educated ethnic connections. There are the descendants of people who headed to the hills in the 1920s, when Fred was active. They don't live in towns, communities, counties with freedom in mind. They live in an enclave. Trump called in all his chits.

Not to be glib. We know what to look for. Voter suppression and Russian disinformation spouted from GOP Senate. Attacks on Biden, some new scandal that doesn't exist. We have the knowledge base, we have the organization, we have the horses to win this race.

Make more phone calls. Pull out all the stops. Do every last thing you can think of. Ask for inspiration when going to bed, how can I do something more or new tomorrow, what will it be?

In the morning when you awaken, write it down. Act on it. The solutions are out there.

The end of days". It really looked like it was the beginning of the end for America, and maybe the planet.

It wasn't. What it taught us is that life is a constant struggle and while there's a good chance it will all fall apart, there's just as good a chance it will get better.

I'm concerned about current administration's efforts to cheat on many levels, but I believe there is such a movement against 45 and his administration.

I understand so many of us are concerned because the polls were wrong in 2016, and 45 barely got the votes in enough states to give him the electoral win.
