I was watching Noticias (news) on Telemundo in the 5-6 hour just now and saw a Spanish language attack ad against Joe Biden.
I couldn't find the ad online anywhere.
Basically it said in Spanish that the United States is 16% Hispanic and Biden didn't consider any Hispanic women for VP and ends with:
Joe Biden no cree que las mujeres hispanas sean lo suficientemente buenas.
Translation: Joe Biden doesn't think Hispanic women are good enough.
Like Trump has an Hispanic running mate or something, right?
Honestly, I don't think this is really going to sway any Hispanics that weren't already leaning toward Trump. I thought it was pretty pathetic.

Doesn't sound particularly effective but I never have a great grasp of Hispanics from issue to issue.
Regardless, we need to get on the air here in Florida. I asked my neighbor if he sees any Biden ads on those networks. Shook his head no.

(31,261 posts)The older ones tend to be republican, but more and more of the younger ones are choosing to be democrats. BUT, there is a powerful cultural aspect, if a White runs against a Hispanic in South Florida, the Hispanic likely wins. In fact, I believe that DeSantis won in 2018 because his running mate was a Cuban-American woman. Andrew Gillum chose a White man as a run in mate and I believe that lost him votes in the critical South Florida and Tampa areas.
