But frankly, I'd rather see Steve Schmidt or any other half-dozen "reformed conservatives" that come to mind as being better speakers for this particular angle of approach.

I've heard Kasich interviewed dozens of times now, and he's just not a compelling speaker. At times he's downright awful. He rambles, doesn't stay on topic, barely answers a direct question, and mostly is on TV nowadays to sell copies of his book.

But it's not a hill I'm going to die on. If he can help us with Ohio, okay then.
