Sometimes, you have to look for out of the box solutions. I think there are a lot of just right of center (or clearly right of center) voters who think very highly of her.

While she was part of the Bush debacle, she was the one person who came out of it with her reputation mostly in tact.

Like I said, I'm not advocating for her pick. But why should we assume that she isn't being discussed. I'm going to bet that if she hasn't been discussed that Biden has reached out to get her opinion. Because if nothing else, her endorsement would be great to have.
