how it felt watching the response of African American people watching Obama's ascension.
Feel the same way now.
Uplifted, alive, hopeful, optimistic, in awe. Respect!
Really great listening to African American people, women, enjoying, dwelling in this moment. Joy Reid. Maxine Waters. Cory Booker.
Loving this. Balm for my soul.
Relief!!

(6,679 posts)Biden was not my first pick, but he is a good man and has my unrelenting support.
Adding Senator Harris to the ticket only increases my respect.
They together are the perfect counter to everything the GOP stands for.

(5,275 posts)We need this excitement boost and need to keep the pedal to the metal.
We already got a preview of Orange Idiot going misogynistic and racist on Kamala. She is nasty. Spoken by the king of nasty. He is in over his head with Harris, who can give as well as she gets....and likely doubles Trumps IQ.
And we have allies with anti Trump republicans and ex republicans and there are many. The Lincoln Project has already put out an ad praising Biden/Harris.
I hope that awful excuse for a human loses historically, making Johnson verses Goldwater look like a squeaker in comparison.

But first, we have work to do.

I hope all types of Americans are feeling Uplifted, alive, hopeful, optimistic, in awe. Respect!
I'm certainly loving this and feel balm for my soul, relief.
As someone who has been told to leave this country my whole life, that I'm stealing jobs away from someone, etc. I can't even begin to describe how badly I want to see Harris steal Pence's job and Trump to go away.
