As an old white woman, I remember

how it felt watching the response of African American people watching Obama's ascension.

Feel the same way now.

Uplifted, alive, hopeful, optimistic, in awe. Respect!

Really great listening to African American people, women, enjoying, dwelling in this moment. Joy Reid. Maxine Waters. Cory Booker.

Loving this. Balm for my soul.

Relief!!

I am so glad that I got to share this with my daughter, I only wish my late mother was still alive to see this - she would have wept tears of joy.

Biden was not my first pick, but he is a good man and has my unrelenting support.
Adding Senator Harris to the ticket only increases my respect.

They together are the perfect counter to everything the GOP stands for.

We need this excitement boost and need to keep the pedal to the metal.

We already got a preview of Orange Idiot going misogynistic and racist on Kamala. She is “nasty”. Spoken by the king of nasty. He is in over his head with Harris, who can give as well as she gets....and likely doubles Trump’s IQ.

And we have allies with anti Trump republicans and ex republicans and there are many. The Lincoln Project has already put out an ad praising Biden/Harris.

I hope that awful excuse for a human loses historically, making Johnson verses Goldwater look like a squeaker in comparison.

I was in tears watching his first inauguration and I'm an old white woman also. I can't wait to see the historic day in January.

But first, we have work to do.

Ran for Dem presidential nomination in 1972. First black congresswoman.

She'd love to see Harris on the ticket.

We're cheering here in Texas!! Barbara gave the dynamite speech at the Democratic National Convention in 1976. Sometimes the person who gives the dynamite speech at the DNC gets the nomination, sometimes they don't. But they're always excellent speeches.

I hope all types of Americans are feeling Uplifted, alive, hopeful, optimistic, in awe. Respect!

I'm certainly loving this and feel balm for my soul, relief.

As someone who has been told to leave this country my whole life, that I'm stealing jobs away from someone, etc. I can't even begin to describe how badly I want to see Harris steal Pence's job and Trump to go away.
