Maya Rudolph teases resuming 'SNL' impression of Harris after VP announcement

Maya Rudolph, the comedian who earned an Emmy nomination for impersonating Kamala Harris on "Saturday Night Live," teased the possible return of her performance on Tuesday after presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden picked the California senator to be his running-mate.
Rudolph learned of Harris's selection as Biden's vice presidential pick as she appeared for a panel discussion for Emmy nominees with Entertainment Weekly.
"Oh shit. Ruh-roh," Rudolph said, according to the magazine, adding that she loves to go on NBC's "SNL" and would be thrilled to resume the Harris impression.
"I love going to the show any excuse I can get...I just didn't really anticipate traveling during this pandemic, but if there's anyone who can work it out I'm sure Lorne [Michaels] has some kind of invisible helicopter that can get me there," she said. "Ever since I was a kid, truly, I wanted to be on any kind of 'SCTV,' 'Saturday Night Live,' and I can't believe that I got to work there, and I can't believe that it's my family still."
