Next they’ll be saying she was born in Kenya.

RWers were insisting that they were taught in school that "natural born citizen" means someone had to have been born in the US, and both parents have to be US citizens at the time of the birth. They claimed everyone knew this back in the day. Naturally, they can't produce a single textbook that was in use during their school years that contains their made-up definition of "natural born citizen".

It was inevitable that they would seize on this if either Sen. Harris or Sen. Duckworth was chosen. Some of them still fantasize that someday, the Supreme Court will determine that President Obama wasn't eligible, his presidency will be declared illegal, and that all legislation he signed during his terms will be voided, as if it never happened.
