He called into the Sean Hannity show last night. For the very first question, Hannity set him up with a softball about Kamala Harris and Joe Biden, finishing by saying "Your reaction to her attacks on him on the issue of race?"
Here's an exact transcript of Trump's answer, which took two minutes and forty seconds:
Sad.
(Trump's answer starts at 1:21 in the video below)

Yet too many anchors and reporters continue to treat discussion of his mental condition as taboo. And they talk about Joe.

(53,242 posts)He's destroying the world without nuclear weapons. I suppose you could say he's an overachiever in some regards, such a constant destructive force. How could one uninformed, incompetent, unintelligent fool dismantle the institutions, alliances, and society that took decades, even centuries to build? It makes one appreciate how fragile and vulnerable civilization is. History has taught us that over and over again, yet so many forget so easily.

(68,444 posts)As with any tyrant, he can only succeed with the help of the enablers, though I don't think any of them ever anticipated how truly awful he would be. Too caught up in their own self-interests to see the big picture.

(56,848 posts)He was 6'2" before he ran for president and there are pictures of him next to 6'3" guys (baseball player Alex Rodriguez, CA Governor Gavin Newsom, for example) and 6'2" guys (Justin Trudeau) and Donny is clearly shorter than all of them and likely has lifts in his shoes as it is.
He may be 6'0" or in the 6'0" to 6'1" range, at best.

(82,849 posts)Contestants train for the Q&A portion by memorizing a shit-ton of research and statistics, and it can be difficult for a teen-ager to sort through all the really valuable stuff they've memorized and keep their answer short, sweet, and to the point. Under the pressure of the big stage and the bright lights, it's no wonder some of their brains go "Ker-sproing!" and we have Miss Teen USA from South Carolina to remember forever on the internet.
But this is the president of the United States, allegedly a grown up. Yet he goes full-tilt boogie on even the simplest questions, cramming all the grievances real and imagined into every utterance.

I've noticed this about him before, he hears a trigger word or phrase and everything after that is white noise to him. As to his incoherent, non-answer to the question, the scary part is in his mind it made sense. He thought he was nailing it.

I noticed in his Axios interview that he cannot let anyone else finish a though, a sentence, because he starts condescending and filling space with obvious generalities that he thinks he's a genius for learning but everyone else already knew.

(28,493 posts)how far gone he is. Just listening, he almost makes sense, because other than when he can't read a word correctly, he still has the rhythms and intonations of the English language correct. Sentence structure, not so much. Coherency is zilch.

(15,472 posts)fear of Trump supporters. How forty or forty-five million people can still support this putz is utterly beyond me.
If someone got this way back in the 20th century, there would be an Article 25, and media guys like Cronkite calming us down after the removal, saying, "This Republic works - we had a crisis and the Constitution helped us resolve it!"
