http://www.c-span.org/Events/Rep-Waters-D-CA-Cleared-of-Ethics-Violation/10737434299/<snip>
The House Ethics Committee Friday cleared California Rep. Maxine Waters (D) of three charges of ethical violations with regards to a bank where her husband is a shareholder.
The committee investigates whether Rep. Waters improperly tried to steer bailout money to the bank. Rep. Waters argues that she contacted the Treasury Department on behalf of a group of minority-owned banks, which include the bank in which her husband had invested.
She further claims that until now the committee has denied her the right to tell her side of the story. She will testify before the committee for the first time in this matter on Friday.

Anyone notice that she didn't have to resign quickly like John Ensign???
