20 something lab person sees it, understands it and chuckles and says she likes it. I use that as an opportunity to ask her if she is going to vote.

1. Happens to me all the time

When out doing essential business, I talk with people & encourage them to just register online & vote blue, no matter who.

I get a lot of the same responses as you did.

Disheartening, but I won't stop trying. Makes me feel sad that people are so disconnected from the voting system. And complacent.

last week a twenty-something who just didn't care about current affairs. Yet the 20 somethings, 30 somethings, 40 somethings, vets pissed at Putin and trump, moms in Portland are going to help our Party shine in November.

My (previous) youngest coworkers referenced the "news" and posts they saw on FB constantly, treating the total garbage seriously --e.g., "From what I read on Facebook, drinking alcohol prevents getting infected by this virus."

Not to mention how they had their fuckin' faces glued to their smartphones so damn much while "working", that management eventually "went nuclear" after numerous warnings and finally announced that any employee seen with a smartphone in the workplace would be immediately terminated. So the older employees couldn't even have a smartphone to receive emergency calls from their household, and such
