"The ultimate obscenity is not caring, not doing something about what you feel, not feeling! Just drawing back and drawing in, becoming narcissistic.

My former neighbor from across Cayuga Lake.

(12,480 posts)Btw been to lake Cayuga.
The part in Ithica.
It was beautiful and awesome there. I will never forget that trip. And the fishing on the lake was outrageous good and there was a huge albino catfish I really wanted to catch. The water is so clear in that lake that you can see the fish as they steal your bait
off the hook. lol .

(18,770 posts)I don't fish much anymore, but the bass were (and still are) quite plentiful.

(12,480 posts)Than other places I fished.
I caught dinner for 6 people 3 times while we were there. It saved our cash to get other stuff with besides food.
One bet I took while at the lake with my freind's there was if I could catch a fish bare handed. I stood in shoulder deep water
my hands ready to grab but perfectly still eventually a fish swam right over my hands and I snatched him held him over my head and won the bet! 100 bux!
Bought more fishing gear with part of it. Lol

(182,877 posts)He and his brother went to Antioch College in my Ohio hometown. They used to return for those 60s men in suits cocktail parties (like you see on TV shows) and my parents were also guests. I had no idea.
Corrects Scott King went there too.
Dave Chappelle still lives in Yellow Springs and is hosting comedy shows in his barn for broadcast.
Interesting little town Yellow Springs. It was where the Underground Railroad came above ground too.
