(CNN)Robert Trump, 72, the younger brother of President Donald Trump, died Saturday at a New York hospital, Donald Trump announced in a statement.

"It is with heavy heart I share that my wonderful brother, Robert, peacefully passed away tonight. He was not just my brother, he was my best friend. He will be greatly missed, but we will meet again. His memory will live on in my heart forever. Robert, I love you. Rest in peace," the President said.


Donald Trump made a last minute decision to go to New York Friday to visit his brother as he headed to New Jersey for the weekend.
Robert Trump had been admitted to New York-Presbyterian Hospital in Manhattan.
Details of Robert Trump's illness have not been released. He had been sick for several months, a person familiar with knowledge of the matter told CNN.

First, it has some punctuation and isn’t laced with all caps.

Second, it exhibits a show of normal feelings of grief. The man is devoid of feelings except rage/anger. Normally, he’d be mad at his brother for taking the attention away from him. Imagine the nerve of that guy to die and divert our eyes to someone else.

There is no mention of how Robert had predicted his brother would one day be one of the greatest -- if not the greatest -- presidents.

There is no mention of how much Robert admired his brother.

He doesn't offer sympathy to Robert's wife, Ann Marie Pallan.

He doesn't call Robert a cute name, like "Dumbo-Bob."

Here's what Mary Trump wrote in her book about the relationship between the two brothers:

“Donald had discovered early on how easy it was to get under Robert’s pale skin and push him past his limits; it was a game he never tired of playing,” Mary Trump wrote. “Nobody else would have bothered — Robert was so skinny and quiet that there was no sport in tormenting him.”

Robert's lucky that his hospital was located between the WH and the golf club, so Trump could drop by enroute the the country club mini-rally and say goodbye.

Of course, knowing Trump that last statement could be a lie to make himself look good.
