Worth reading in its entirety. Sargent just got this info from Robert Bauer.

House Democrats have called on DeJoy to reverse these changes and testify to Congress. Theyve demanded documents designed to probe their true nature and rationale. But the fear that they could impact the election is shared by some Republican officials.
The second goal behind Trumps efforts is more subtle, but the Biden camp thinks its critical: By constantly (and falsely) attacking vote-by-mail as riddled with fraud, Trump and his allies are trying to dissuade people from using it at all, by persuading them their own ballots wont be counted and by casting a pall of confusion over the whole process.

To remedy this, the Biden campaign tells me its planning massive expenditures in educating voters about mail balloting, with two goals: To get people to initiate the vote-by-mail process as early as possible and follow it through, and to inform people that mail balloting is secure.

Another crucial piece of the Biden response is supporting litigation currently underway in many swing states against state laws that invalidate ballots postmarked before Election Day that arrive after. Trump has repeatedly telegraphed that he will declare later-arriving ballots fraudulent, and hes banking on those laws to ensure they arent counted.

(17,802 posts)That doesn't happen magically. The computer system that runs those machines could "break", or go down for extended maintenance. Then no postmarks for days.
Just saying.

(1,789 posts)Sure he wants to suppress the vote to make the count closer, but this is all about a rationale to reject the result when he loses.

Also can't help wondering if he had an eye-job that hasn't aged well. His eyebrows AND skin in the eye socket are pulling upward and outward in the same way.
